Overview: 2nd Avenue Retail is a mixed-use building that was constructed in 2002. Its design was inspired by the Gold Rush era buildings in Skagway constructed during the beautification period. The building is located in the Historic District directly across 2nd Avenue from the White Pass & Yukon Railroad depot. This is an excellent retail location, and it is one of the first locations for the walking traffic from the Railroad Dock.
Retail Space: The retail area has nearly 50′ of frontage along 2nd Avenue. The retail doors are on either side of the space and are set diagonally allowing a good flow of traffic. The ceiling height in the retail area is nearly 12′. There is a large retail storage area on the second floor with loading off the rear of the building.
Apartment: The apartment has four bedrooms and two bathrooms in the main area with an ensuite manager’s apartment area that includes a living room, private bathroom and bedroom. There is also a separate laundry room.
